Delete your data
Last updated October 14, 2026
This page explains how to delete your data from Traysikol, the tricycle fare app for Android, iPhone and iPad. Traysikol has no accounts, so there’s no account to delete, and it never collects your name, phone number or payment details.
How to ask us to delete your data
- Email hello@traysikol.com with the subject “Delete my data”.
- Tell us what to delete: the email address you used in feedback, to delete your messages, and/or the place, the fare amounts and about when you saved a custom fare.
- We may reply to confirm that the request comes from you. For feedback, we reply to the email address in it.
- Once the data is deleted, we confirm it within 30 days of your request.
You can also email us this way to see or correct the data we have about you, under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
What we keep, and for how long
We store these with Google Firebase:
- Feedback and bug reports you send from the app: your message, your email address if you added one, and your app version, phone model, operating system version and language. We keep them for as long as they help us improve the app. Deleted on request.
- Custom base fares you save in the app: the city or municipality and province, the fare amounts, and a random code made when you installed the app. They aren’t linked to your name or email, so we find them from the place, the amounts and about when you saved them, and delete the entries that match. Deleted on request.
- Crash reports from Firebase Crashlytics: technical details about the error, your phone model, operating system and app version, and a random installation ID. We can’t link them to a person, so they can’t be deleted on request, but they’re deleted automatically after 90 days.
Data on your phone
Your recent places, trip history, the area you picked, your base fare, your language and the day’s road route count are saved only on your phone. We never receive them, so you can delete them yourself:
- Trip history: in the History tab, tap Clear.
- Everything: Android Settings > Apps > Traysikol > Storage > Clear data.
- Or uninstall the app (on iPhone or iPad, delete it), which removes all of it.
Map, place and routing services
To show the map, find places and measure distances along the roads, the app sends map coordinates, search text, your device’s IP address and the app’s name and version to Google Maps, the place services Geoapify and Photon (by komoot), your phone’s own address service (Google’s on Android, Apple’s on iPhone and iPad), and the routing services openrouteservice (HeiGIT), Geoapify and Google. We don’t store this data. These services keep it under their own privacy policies (HeiGIT keeps requests for 7 days).
